Technology is so strong with the internet that news and posts can go viral in seconds leaving our government and legislative bodies with predicaments on what to do and how to address them. There are now pages of local cities in states around the country that have twitter accounts and post on them generally to address the internet and news floating around. I feel like our legislative bodies need to either be more active delivering messages or even create their own part of the internet in a way where whenever there is news coming straight from the government and bodies everyone receives them. There is so much fake news they need to take advantage of the internet and make their statements known and more frequent. The internet has come to a place where it is so negative, if it was me, I would do something with apple of just the internet where messages or even videos of the council breaking the legistics down. They need to show they can be truthful to news and controversy, and they are doing what they say to gain the trust of the people. It could go south as always or create a sense of trust in the nation and relaxing to the people all around. To know they are recognizing and delivering, there are so many stalkers and bad people on the internet that take advantage of it to get what they want and to harass. The government should be able to take advantage and put in the effort to deliver and maybe change all the bad and bring peace. To gain control of advancements they must advance in their ways. Most younger people don’t pay as much attention to the news, most don’t even have TV just apps like Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, etc. What if like alerts on phones for danger and local news/emergencies the government had a regular report they would send a day. They could even make their whole own app like Twitter but more highly secured with cyber security professionals that have worked their entire life for it and set it up with policies like the protective order, jurisdiction be placed. Then they could use that to convey messages and reply but the comments would have to be regulated and very strict because people are horrible. What I have really realized is that the opportunities are endless with technology and the plenty of advancements that will continue. Some policies could even be restricting certain misled Ips, connectors, and techniques that could be done for the database to create this news portal for the government to deliver directly to the people of the United States. The database would have to be very secure and honestly perfect, but it can be done with more comprehensive legislation.
