The study in the article focuses on the question of “How do civil and commercial codes control the limitations of electronic contracts in transactions? The study gives more a descriptive research method than any other. It benefits from archival researcher, in which the researcher brought together multiple sources and perspectives. However, the information is fixed in one place, and they have no control over the type of information being received. The data, as stated, “stems mainly from secondary sources that are books, websites, other articles, and other official sources” (2024, p.8). The data was given a simple content analysis review and was presented and inspected by the researchers. In the study the researchers review the civil and commercial codes that pertain to electronic codes. This is namely the Jordanian Electronic Transactions Law No. 15 of 2015. This study has discovered constrictions in the Jordanian Electronic Transactions law that fail to, as stated, “fully encompass the multifaceted nature of electronic contracts” (2024, p.12). This discovery could be used to evaluate the law further and progress the effectiveness of the law on electronic contracts. This study also highlights the key factor that the law is used keep up with electronic progression and help political and economic growth. This study appeals to the principle of skepticism, in which the researchers “scrutinized Jordanian legislative”, instead of taking them at face value (2024, p.1). The study also relates to the principle of objectivity because after gathering the data, they gave faults to improve the legislative. Additionally, the principle of relativism is relevant, as the development of further electronic contract laws could enhance both political and economic systems. The defects in the Jordanian laws could be used to take advantage of lower wage families by bigger businesses. It also raises concerns about the vague boundaries of cybersecurity laws, which could be used to target individuals based on their general opinions. However, there is also the role of these laws that aim to improve security and development in the cyber world.
