The media makes cybersecurity seem more fictional and futuristic than it realistically is. Throughout the media there is a lot of fake representations of cybersecurity and hacking that don’t blend in well with what it really occurs. It also makes people think that hacking is easier than what we make it. And that hackers could, with little difficulty, get into their personal information and records. But media also depicts real hacking and cybersecurity techniques used by people. Through following these representations of hacking, the audience could increase their understanding of what cybersecurity actually is. This could lead them to make safer decisions on what they do on technology and observative on what applications, networks, and browsers they log onto.
