Fake websites can be identified by people through various ways on the internet. Firstly, looking at the domain of the website can help you in making sure the website is real. Comparing it to the official websites’ domain can lead you to recognize the differences between them. Secondly, you can check for misspelling or errors in the texts from emails and websites. Errors made in an email is a common way to tell if a site or email is unusual or strange. Finally, websites that ask for personal information or ask you to click something could hold dangerous malware or viruses. You should not click on anything that asks you to fill out information if you do not know where it came from. Or, promise a prize of some kind if you click a link.
