AI provides an enormous library of functionality to the point where many workers will be able to use it in their jobs. This enormous library of functionality can also increase efficiency of those who use it since it has such a wide range of usability. The document also states that it is expected that many should understand AI the same way that a mechanic knows how to use a wrench, this shows how important AI is to the current market. Data Management responsibilities involves setting rules and processes with managing data across the entire organization. this team enforces data governance frameworks to make sure that data is handled responsibly. This team also has to comply to regulations set to the organization. This is done so then the team and organization does not get into legal issues or fines for breaking the law for data handling practices. These roles are becoming more critical as AI continues to grow and be integrated into business operations because of the way on how AI distributes information and learns. As AI learns it will take in as much information as it is fed, but this means that all of the information that it is fed stays there. This causes problems since this can mess with Data Managements job of managing data across the entire organization since anyone would be able to obtain any data they would want. Also if the AI is fed data that is against regulations the organization would go into trouble and since AI has a hard time of letting go of data this would cause even more problems for Data Management since this could cause the organization to get into legal issues of data collection. In my opinion AI does not change where it fits within the broader structure of a modern organization. IT would still be needed for the same jobs, but AI could make it easier for IT to do their jobs or it could also make sub categories from the IT branch.
