It’s to the point where know a lot of parents are buying their children phones that can text so that they can have better contact with their children when they are doing things such as walking home. Another way computers have made the world a safer place is by helping make emergency response more effective. There are know systems in place for when someone calls emergency response that helps locate where the individual is so that the needed help can get to the scene faster. The final way that computers have made the world safer is by improving the healthcare system. Computers have made it so that doctors can receive information faster, store information easier, and even as far as helping with surgical procedures. Like previously stated computers have also introduce was to make the world more unsafe. One way that computers have made the world more unsafe is be introducing another way for identify theft to happen. Now that so much personal information is out on the internet that means there is always a chance that someone can steal the information with the person knowing. Another way that computers have negatively affected the world is cybercrimes such as hacking. Now that people have things of value on the internet such as money there has been a rise in the amount of cybercrime because there is something that draws in crimes. The final way that computers have made the world worse is that misinformation can spread at an extremely fast rate. Misinformation can spread and cause people to get into trouble or bad situations even though the information is not correct.
