Security is one of the most important things for a business to have. In almost any store you go into there are normal multiple things to show that there is a security system. These can be things such as cameras, anti-theft equipment, and sometimes even security guards based on the kind of products that the business is selling. Businesses should put the same amount if not more time, effort, and money into their cybersecurity systems than their anti-theft system. Cybersecurity systems have plenty of benefits. One benefit is that then the company has protection from cyber-attacks and steps in place if an attack happens. If an attack does go down it can cost a company thousands upon thousands of dollars. The loss can be even more dramatic if a company has no system in place to defend it. Another advantage is that if people feel like they can trust their information with a company they will be more likely to use that company over others. The systems themselves are not free for businesses and come at a cost. The most obvious cost is the money cost. The price of a cybersecurity system varies on multiple factors and can range from thousands of dollars for a smaller system to millions of dollars for a larger more complex system. The other cost of a system is time. For the system to work best it needs adequate time to be put together but also the employees in the company need to take time so that they know what they can and can not do. So while a system does have a few costs such as money and time the benefits that a business can reap override the cost.
