Explain how the principles of science relate to cybersecurity

There are believed to be certain principles that natural and social sciences follow. These principles are known as scientific principles. It has now been concluded that cybersecurity is put through scientific principles since it relates to social science. The connection between cybersecurity and social science can be connected through the idea/principle of relativism which simply states that all things are related through something. So numerous systems connect the two such as the criminal justice system, economic system, etc. Once this connection is made scientists can begin to fully apply the rest of the principles. For example, determinism is a principle that states that behavior is influenced by certain events. This principle relates to cybersecurity through models such as the nomothetic model which gives an idea of a few things that could have caused the behavior of the one who performed a cyber incident. All the principles can be brought back and linked to cybersecurity. With that said it is easier to connect some of the principles to nature sciences but they still work with explaining the connection between the two fields. An example of this is parsimony. This principle in simple words is the idea that scientist should keep their explanations simple. This principle is easier to link to the natural sciences but it can still be used in the social sciences. Scientist can try their best to explain how humans behave in as simple of a way that can be found. Normally this means there are a few variables put into place to explain one’s behavior after performing an incident or in this case a cybercrime.
