There have been many ways in which cyber technology has created opportunities for workplace deviance. For example, Workers for any company can shut down their security systems which would lead hackers to hack into the company’s systems. This could be because the worker didn’t get a raise or is just unhappy with their work, which could cause all of their data to be at risk and potentially harm the company. Another example could be a fired worker, before he leaves the company he could steal valuable information from the company and sell it to other companies for profit because he was fired and wants to harm the company. A significant way cyber technology created opportunities for workplace deviance is that it is much harder to catch someone through technology than in person because you could find a criminal through security systems, security cameras, alarms, and the security team throughout the inside of a company. But to find a criminal through technology is a whole different story.
