For these assignments I compared the USA and Spain. There were many similarities between the two nations; but cultural there were many differences; like the holidays (and food associated with those holidays), and sports that were the most popular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During Spanish 102 I learned about Preterite irregular verbs, Present, Reflexive, and Past tense verbs; as well as formal commands, and vocabulary on the topics of health and wellbeing, food, occupations, family members, sports and activities, parts of the body, and more. <br><br>The present progressive tense describes an action and underscores the notion that the action is in progress at the time a statement is being made. <br><br>The preterite is one of two past tense formations in Spanish. It is used to talk about actions or states that were completed in the past. <br><br>Both saber and conocer mean &#8220;to know&#8221; but they are not interchangeable. Both verbs have irregular forms in the first person singular &#8220;yo&#8221; forms. The other forms follow regular -er conjugation. Use the personal &#8220;a&#8221; when conocer is followed by a person or pet. Saber- to know facts and things; to know how to do something, a skill.
