About Me
My name is Kayla Davies, and I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology with a minor in Engineering Management. Upon graduation I hope to have a job as a civilian engineer for the military.
The study of fluid mechanics will aid me when designing air turbines, pumps, combustion engines, constructing water supply systems, and help predict the how fluids behave under certain conditions. This course, from a professional standpoint, can be applied when using critical thinking skills during design and construction.
My knowledge of Thermal Applications will help me when working on systems such as heat exchangers, boilers, engines, gas turbine power cycles, refrigeration systems, gas mixtures, and psychometrics applied to air conditioning processes.
