I feel like signing up for this class should be something that strays from entering the list of ‘recommended classes no one should experience,’ being justifiably far from it. This class has a lot to offer and plenty of information to help out later in my college career. While in this class I have learned enough information that will support me through four years of undergraduate study; I have learned giving myself enough time to practice the art of writing a perfect essay requires a lot of practice; Also, plan when to write because the majority of my time is spent by trying to find the best word with what I am trying to convey. Finally, I learned that the writing process is not to be done in any formulated way; The writing processes can be done as creatively as a snowflake. I am personally glad that I registered for this class because since day one I have this true experience I get to put under my belt as an introductory class to college writing. Without this class, I would have no idea the power of conjunctive adverbs or the strength a semicolon has to offer; furthermore, I am glad that I will have multiple ways to take on the challenge of college essays and effective ways to read pages of assigned readings before the reading is due. I am lucky enough to store the lessons learned into my long term memory, then to pull it back from the depths of my mind at a later date, when the next essay is so kindly assigned.
