Writing Reflection Three
Since the beginning of University 150, the improvement I have noticed is amazing, considering the way I wrote assignments before having this course. Being in University 150, I have witnessed my strengths in writing along with my weaknesses. One of my strong suit with writing is persuading and changing a reader’s argument. I enjoy getting my point across to readers that way he or she can envision, my perspective and view of things. One of the things I’m good at is having an argumentive essay. I have made progress in multiple areas as well that will later benefit my writing skills. From writing essays and weekly journals, I’ve learned how to remain on topic, give better detail explanations, and use better word choice. I haven’t had a flawless semester, there were several areas I seem to be weak at, and needed to improve on. The main thing I struggled in this semester with was clarity/syntax. I still receive a three on the grading rubric for clarity/syntax, which means I haven’t fully mastered it, but it is accomplished. This class has given me all the elements to achieve the next course that follows this one. Another great essential in University 150 is ePortfolio. With ePortfolio, I can upload and store all weekly journals along with essay reflections. The information from the start of the semester has been a tremendous help, especially with a professor like Mrs.Isenkul. Having her proofread and correct my work is a great asset she chooses to do. Anyone who is taking University 150 next semester, is grateful to have Mrs.Isenkul as a professor, she is excellent to work with. I enjoyed my time in this course for my first semester and strongly recommend it to anyone who needs it.
