One of the most significant ethical issues related to what I am working on is related to privacy. Those entrusted with the safety of private information have a responsibility to have adequate protection against those seeking access without proper authority. Also, they are responsible for handling that privacy with care and not using it for personal gain. Consumers have a right to their privacy. If I am involved in breeching that privacy, I am held responsible.
