Cybercrime and cyber bullying
I did my article review on an article about cyber bullying and cyberbullicide. Bullying and targeting on social platforms has been happening for a long time.
The article focuses on cyber bullying and cyberbullicide among Jordanian College students. The topic is deeply intertwined with a couple of the principles of social sciences.
Studying cyber bullying through social science involves exploring why people do things and their behavior. We can understand the causes,effects, and potential solutions.
Researchers focused on examining the impact of cyberbullying among the university students in Jordan. The questions were along the lines of the impact of cyber bullying on mental health, differences in demographic, and social context and perception. Hypotheses are the prevalence of cybersecurity and cyber bullying and cyberbullicide ideation.
In the article, researchers were said to use quantitative research, survey/questionnaires, sampling methods, and more.The methods were well suited for understanding the issues that were taking place in a specific area.
They also collected data. Types of data collected were demographic, cyber bullying incidence data, and cyberbullicide ideation data. The analysis that were used were descriptive statistics, logistic regression, and correlation analysis.
The topic of cyberbullying and cyberbullicide is very relevant to the challenges and concerns of marginalized groups. These specific groups often face vulnerabilities in digital areas, making them more vulnerable to cyberbullying and other mental health problems.
An article like this only raises more awareness in my eyes. This content provides a lot of insight on this issue. Cyberbullying is a very serious issue for college students. The research can provide information for prevention and intervention.
The overall contribution of these studies are multifaceted. By sharing the information on the issue can inform and promote a safer online environment for every and all students.
