Motives depend upon the crimes committed. My ranking is below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Money: I believe most criminals\/ hackers would commit crimes based on how much money they would receive. To me it makes the most sense.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Revenge: A vendetta against someone could make you do terrible things. That&#8217;s why I put it second on my list.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Boredom: Heard the saying \u201c Curiosity killed the Cat?\u2019\u2019 Sometimes curiosity or boredom can lead to doing strange things on the internet. So to me Boredom is number three.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Entertainment: I put this here because some people might find it fun to do bad things.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Recognition: Crime could be a way for people to get their name out in the world but I don&#8217;t think it makes the most sense.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Political: this one makes the least sense to me<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Journal #5&nbsp; Deja Brown (On my slides on my IPad I can only see 1-6 motives) In class we learned about different motives.
