Despite the majority of my courses focusing on technical and professional skills, my creativity has always been a strong skill in my life. From a young age, I have enjoyed art, music, and writing, and that has bled into my academic career as well.

I created the infographic below for an assignment for my Introduction to Interdisciplinary Studies course. It takes the information of the 10-step Interdisciplinary Research Model and presents it in an aesthetically pleasing, yet organized way.

The assignment below is the written reflection of a PSA creation assignment from one of my written communication courses. I was tasked to create a PSA that targets a specific group of people, and I was able to use my artistic abilities to draw my “audience” in through both a digital poster and mock Twitter account.

This presentation highlights the symbolism present in “Hut on the Mountain”: a Chinese short story by Can Xue. I used origami to present these themes along with specific quotes that go along with said origami. This allowed me to use both my analytical and artistic skills.
