I am Derek, an active duty United States Marine. I have been serving for the last 14 years and am now currently earning my way through a Bachelor’s degree. I am from a small town in Delaware, but have lived all over the world throughout my career. I have a son named Wesson and a German Shepard named Kimber.

I have done many different types of work in the Marine Corps such as supply and logistics, border patrol among the Iraqi/Jordan border, tank operator, embassy security, and advising for the Afghanistan National Army as well as several other internal billets.

I am conducting my major in Physical Education but have an interest in Cyber and decided that I would pursue some classes and maybe start getting credits towards a minor. This plan would help considerably in my career within the Military as cyber is expanding very quickly.
