Learning about how cells respond to things like nutrients, hormones, and stress helped me understand how important healthy cell function is for the whole body. This connects to my interest in becoming a naturopathic doctor because that type of medicine focuses on helping the body heal naturally and stay healthy overall. I also learned that when cells stop working correctly, it can lead to different diseases and health problems. Understanding these processes helped me see why things like nutrition, sleep, stress levels, and lifestyle choices matter so much for health. This class made me realize that cell biology is the foundation for understanding how the body works.
