Internships
“I confidently believe that this experience has been overall
very beneficial for my career as an IT professional. Being able to work with such experienced
and knowledgeable personnel within my career of interest has elevated my ability to comprehend
detailed concepts that are required by a cyber professional on a daily basis. I have gained better
understanding of skills such as self-motivation, critical thinking and problem solving, time
management and many more concepts that can be applied to not only cyber jobs, but other jobs
that I may hold in the future. Apart from the information that I learned from that I learned from
my peers working within the cyber career aspect of the job, I was fortunate enough to work with
other people who I will work alongside with and gain new perspective on the job and have better
understanding of how I can affect people that I do not directly work with in my job. This was a
great experience overall, and I am so glad that I chose this internship as my choice for this class.
This internship allowed me to gain beneficial insights on the military as well and be able to
understand their sacrifice for us as well. Distributing the knowledge that I have gained to others
is something that I look forward to in the future because I know there are plenty of people who
want this opportunity as well and I am aware of that and do not take it for granted. When I am in
the position to I plan to share this information to those who are less fortunate to not experience
what I was able to experience within the job.”
