I’m a Nursing major. I chose that major because when I was a child, my mom got stage four breast cancer. I had to take on a huge responsibility to take care of her along with my dad. I found a passion for caring for the sick and it was what made me decide to become a nurse. I had two instances of experience related to nursing: taking care of my mom while she had cancer and when my dad was so fatigued from mowing the lawn in the hot sun that he ended up almost blacking out; taking care of both my parents greatly helped with experiences with becoming a nurse.
