By following the step-by-step instructions, I became more comfortable using commands in the terminal to move between directories, view files, and make changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Concepts I Learned<\/strong><br>I learned how to work with both absolute and relative pathnames, how to list files in different formats, and how to use commands like <code>cat<\/code>, <code>file<\/code>, <code>tail<\/code>, <code>cp<\/code>, <code>mv<\/code>, <code>mkdir<\/code>, and <code>rm<\/code> effectively. The lab also reinforced the importance of directory structure in Linux and how permissions can sometimes restrict certain actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Challenges Faced<\/strong><br>One of the challenges I faced was remembering when to use absolute vs. relative pathnames. I also ran into \u201cPermission denied\u201d errors when copying system directories, which required me to understand the difference between user privileges and administrative access.
