Cultural Competencies for the Young Diplomat

This artifact demonstrates my interactive training skills while working with diplomatic youth in West Africa. During my time of diplomatic service, I began the first and only Junior Ambassador Teen Leadership Program in all of Senegal, West Africa. Each youth was expertly trained in the four distinct areas of protocol and required to display their knowledge, skills and abilities, at graduation in the presence of two Ambassadors. Each student received letters of recommendation from the Ambassador, as well as other embassy officials and dignitaries.
