My most treasured possession is my Iphone. It is vital for staying connected to the world and internet. Also, in order to get into my ODU account, I have to go through two step verification. Without my phone, that would be impossible. Also, I bought my phone with my own money. My parents did not help me. It symbolize’s me growing up and doing having a responsibility.

My favorite sport is Baseball. I spent over ten years of my life playing it. I have countless memories playing it, and have made some of my best friends playing baseball. To me it is also the most complex sport. There are many moving parts and is not easy to understand. Some people think that it is boring to watch. However, the sport fascinates me, and I love to watch and play it.

My first car, is still my current car. It is a 2006 Toyota Corolla. It is a silver and has a dent in the passenger door. There is not aux plug in, so I had to buy a radio transmitter in order to play my music. The seats are a nice gray fabric that stain way too easily. The interior is a combination of fake wood and grey plastic. All put together, it makes a nice little car to get me to and from school.

If I had one wish, I would go back to sixth grade. That was when life really started, and I would just like to experience middle school and high school again. With everything I know now, there are just so many things that I would do differently. Also, all of my friends are still in one place. Unlike now, where all of my friends are spread out across the country and at different colleges.

If I had to move to another state I would move to Oregon. The scenery is very nice to look at. Also, the cost of living is low, so it is a good bang for your buck. My favorite college is also Oregon University. I am also a fan of the Oregon Trail Blazers, and living in Oregon would allow me to go to a game. Lastly, Oregon is on the west coast, and that would allow me to experience a different life style than the east coast life.
writing reflection #3
Univ 150 has had many ups and downs. The start of the semester was difficult. Assimilating to college life was harder than expected, and that’s why the beginning was rough. Univ 150 has helped me improve immensely in my writing and presentations. The assignments that helped me the most was the second oral presentation, the midterm, and the third essay.
The second oral presentation was very eye opening for me. The first oral presentation I did not put much effort into, but I actually tried on the second presentation. Listening and watching my classmates present were helpful. I was able to watch them and implement some aspects that they did into my presentation. The second presentation was also good practice for next semester. I am taking public speaking, so it was like a head start on that class. Lastly, the directions for the presentation were strict on making sure all the information was covered. That was also good practice for reading all the directions and double checking to make sure all the information was there.
The midterm was a good learning point. It was finished completely independently, just like the WSPT. It showed what I could do individually without help. With no writing review to go to, or professor to check over my essay, it was definitely nerve racking. However, I did very well on the midterm and received three fours and one three in the categories. Now that I got the midterm back with what was wrong highlighted, I can review it and know what to fix for next time. The midterm was a major part of Univ 150 that has helped my writing improve.
Lastly, essay three was very helpful in building my writing skills for this semester. The first essay was not very good, and the second one was better but still needed improvement. The third essay was my best essay written in the class. I received a four in every category, and only made one mistake throughout the entire essay. I put a lot of work into that essay, and it felt good for the work to pay off. Essay three was a major confidence builder and gave me confidence to write good papers for my other classes.
In conclusion, Univ 150 has been very beneficial for me. It has helped me build good writing habits that I can implement into my other classes. The second oral presentation was very helpful. Listening and watching my classmates were very helpful. Also, the midterm was great practice, and showed me what areas I still needed to improve in. Lastly, essay three showed how much improvement that I’ve made, and how far I have come since the beginning of the semester.
