Three things I learned from Mr Charlie Kirkpatrick
1. Mr. Kirkpatrick talks about how you need technical skills if you’re working in cybersecurity and he talks about how he needs technical skills when he is working in cybersecurity day to day.
2.Mr. Kirkpatrick talks about the skills you use in cybersecurity can make you a threat or can make you a asset. The reason he talks about this is because anyone working in cybersecurity can be a threat because of the information they know.
3. Kirkpatrick gives advice on what to do as a student. He talks about being prepared for change and you have to be willing to learn something new. He also talks about how communication in cybersecurity can go a long way.
Three things I learned from Mr Joe Simmons!
1.Joe Simmons talks about how students don’t know where to start after graduation, explains how you have to work your way up in cybersecurity and explains how most people start as a network administrator and start working by helping in the desk.
2. Simmons talks about how there are different threats in cybersecurity and explains how there is a threat level, the more the threat level is the bigger the threat is.
3. Simmons explains how you have to help customers what is going on and how you have to identify their problems. Simmons also explains that there are different types of problems in cybersecurity you will face.
Things I learned from Mr. Morey!
1. In class, Morey explains what cybersecurity is like in a daily basis and explains how cybersecurity functions.
2. Morey explains how cybersecurity isn’t always about finding out who is trying to get your data and it sometimes takes time to find out who is hacking the system.
3. Morey talks about how you have to learn new skills if you want to get where he is, talks about how communication is a big part of cybersecurity and talks about how being the smartest does not matter and explains how you have to be ready for uncomfortable situations. He also explains how you get used to the uncomfortable situations because it happens a lot and you start getting used to the problems.
