Coming from high school to college the writing process and paper assignments has changed drastically with the required steps to write a correct paper and to make it perfect of how your professor wants it. For example, at the beginning of the semester I didn’t know when starting my conclusion, the thesis is suppose to be restated in the first sentence. With the help of my resources and notes from class I had made that change into my paper which made the flow of it and overall paper better. The progress that I have made so far in my papers have visibly shown good results throughout the 2 essays that have been submitted. By showing how my editing skills checklist numbers on the weakness side losing checks, while my strength side has been gaining more checks in the boxes. On the other hand, I have some repeating weaknesses that have shown up on my 1st and 2nd essays; which are Punctuation, subject/verb agreement, and Fragment. With those mistakes in my papers, they make my overall work bad because of how much of them are scattered in there. But I know that I need to go to the review sessions and use my online resources to fix those, so my paper can be better. Secondly I can use the Purdue writing resources to help me with those mistakes as well. Also, what I need help with is to stop making lousy mistakes with my case / capitalization. For example I would capitalize high school and university but knowing not to. But  I had went to the review session with Mr. Stewart, then he sat down with me and covered up that mistake with me to make my final paper overall better. Furthermore, some examples that has stayed as strengths between my essay 1 and 2 are fused sentences, comma splices, and run on sentences.
