Throughout the labs, I learned how to navigate the file system using basic commands such as <code>ls<\/code>, <code>cd<\/code>, and <code>pwd<\/code>, as well as how to create, move, and delete files and directories. I also gained experience working with file permissions and understanding how access control functions in Linux, which is a key concept in system security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main challenges I faced was becoming comfortable with using only the command line instead of a graphical interface. At first, it was easy to forget commands or make small syntax errors that caused commands to fail. Troubleshooting these issues required patience and careful attention to detail. However, over time, I became more confident and efficient by practicing and learning from mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another challenge was understanding how different commands and concepts connect, such as how permissions affect users and groups. Once I started to see how these pieces fit together, the tasks became more manageable and made more sense overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main takeaway from these labs was that Linux is a powerful and flexible system that relies heavily on command-line interaction. This experience helped me develop problem-solving skills and a better understanding of system operations.
