Since I was a 5 year old , I had a passion for basketball. Basketball has played a big part in my life and love the game itself. Growing up , I saw the older kids playing basketball and I wanted to have fun like them. I got myself a mini basketball and a mini hoop and that’s when I truly realized how special the game was. My mini basketball was my favorite toy until I was 10 and as I got older I wanted to play organized basketball. I joined a local school team in the summertime and tournaments. My team lost in the semi finals but I still had a great time. My dream was to be a professional NBA player but being under 6 feet and above your chances are slight. I still love playing basketball and now in college we have an open gym that I go to often. I also liked to attend the ODU basketball games and enjoy myself watching the game I love.
