Impact of Cybersecurity and AI’s Related Factors on Incident Reporting Suspicious Behavior
This article talks about how much influence cybersecurity training has on behavior of employees because of the training they’re able to recognize and report suspicious activities and adopt New Al technologies. The research examines two main hypotheses, how the employee’s behavior is affected by the cybersecurity training and how the incident report and cyber threats are changed cause of the training. This research is based on the 229 employees from different fields like banking and fast food. The researchers used descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling to analyze the data received.
According to the analyzed result of the experiment the cybersecurity training really does impact the behavior of employees on recognizing and reporting the incident. the topic relates to the principles of the social sciences through psychology and organizational behavior. As the research shows how training and understanding of technology have the capacity to shape the behavior of a person or group of people which is connected to social science theories of decision making and behaviors. Study shows that employees having a knowledge of how technology works, it’s risks and how we can protect it makes it important in organizational settings to understand how human behaves.
The research questions and hypotheses focus on whether the cybersecurity training on incident report and Al adoption has any effects on employees or not. It especially experiment, if the relationship between threats and reporting behaviors is changes and if the training makes the employees more likely to report the suspicious activities in the system. To test these hypotheses, the researchers use methods like survey and statistic to collect data. The data is used to see if employees are aware of cyber risks, if the report of suspicious activities are higher or lower and the use of AI.
The result of the data shows how the concepts from the class relate to the article through concept like organizational culture and behavioral intention. These concepts help us understand how employees perceive suspicious activity and make decision. This research does not focus on specific group however it’s shows how important equal access to training is for all employees.
In conclusion, this research/article emphasize how important the cybersecurity training is in the workplace in order for, employees to recognize the suspicious activity or threat and report it.
