Is it ethical to watch someone is cyberspace without them knowing? No, I do no think its ethical but, I think that it is needed. If someone knows that they are being watched through the screen then their behavior would different then if they thought that their was not anyone watching them. For an example, If someone decided that they wanted to post a video of themselves drinking and they are underage on social media. They would do it if that’s what they really wanted to do but, what if they had a family member that followed them on social media then it is less likely that the person would post it because they wouldn’t want to get in trouble by their guardian. Which proves my point that if someone knew that they were being watched in cyberspace they would not act with the true intent that they wanted to so, it is not ethical but in order for research or studies wo be correct then it should be anonymous.
