I’m interested in cybersecurity because the field of cybersecurity can open many doors for you. There’s so many different ways you can go about cybersecurity and there’s and there’s a plenty of places to get employment. You can work for a for a store, or a business, or a company and they all are very effective jobs. It’s a job that requires you to use critical thinking and really want to learn new ways to prevent cyber attacks from happening and help many people who have been victims of cyber attack. Cybersecurity a continuous growing field and there’s a lot that it has to offer. I like how it’s a field that changes with time which in a way can give it a new feel and it’s something that can keep you interested. Cybersecurity technology is also a field where you can work from multiple places so the fact that it’s flexible is good. I also like how essential cybersecurity technology is in today’s world especially with the advances of technology and the internet. I also have an interest in learning about how to make sure websites are secure and the different cyber attacks and how to respond to them. I think that it’s interesting to learn about how to find problems dealing with the internet as far as attacks go and help be part of a solution to stop people from gaining information they are no authorized to have. Cybersecurity is also a very good and well rewarding entry level job that has good pay, and you can still move up and get higher position jobs as you gain more experience in the field. Another reason would be that it is computer based which I think helps you reach many people from all over to help them. Four other majors that relate to cybersecurity are computer science, computer programming, database management, computer hardware engineering.
