Having the opportunity to take COMM495 Sports and Strategic Communication the main take away I took from this class was that social media does play a huge role in the sports business. With each assignment I had the opportunity to post my work on social media and got to see other people react with one another and get the chance to learn more about sports. I also learned that networking is another key component when dealing with sports. I got the opportunity to meet new people who gave me the biggest advice I could take when it comes to my career. Each assignment I learned something new about sports. Each reading was a huge help for me when also learning new things about sport. I had a great experience within this class with my professor and also my teammates.
