My name is Destinie Phillips. I am a sophomore for Old Dominion University for the Broadcast journalism major. I aspire to be a media influencer. I wish to inspire others and help people and organisations around the world. I am currently a radio host for Old Dominion University radio station called WODU. I wish to use my voice to inform others globally on all topics such as life, culture, and people. I want to take my major to another level and host my very own daytime talk show.

I want to finish school with a bachelors degree in my major and use it to my best advantage. I aspire to travel the world and succeed in my visions. I am the oldest of 4 children and want to show my siblings that anything is possible despite the obstacles.
