About Me

My name is Drew Hargrove I am a sophomore at Old Dominion University. I’m originally from New Jersey but moved and lived in Virginia Beach most of my life. I attended Ocean Lakes high School where I played football and received scholarships from 4 different schools. I graduated in 2017 and attended Chowan University fall of 2017 to play football. I stayed at Chowan University my freshman and half of my sophomore year before transferring over to Old Dominion University for a better opportunity. things didn’t workout because I was going through somethings with family so I took a year and a semester off. I gave up on football but got back into school and made deans list and I even picked up a new sport. I’m a resilient person I’ve been through so much in my life but I always found a way to get through it. my goal in life is to complete my bachelor’s degree in business analytics while becoming a professional boxer. Another goal I hope to accomplish is to become a better me. I always try and find ways to improve myself I enjoy helping people because I’ve experienced how a little bit of help can change a persons life for the better. I love to learn new things, taking Spanish has open my world view and has gave me more knowledge of the Spanish speaking world/culture that i hope to use in the real world one day.
