I am a Nursing Major at Old Dominion University. I chose this major because I want to be able to help those who are unable to help themselves. I am a first generation student and being able to set a strong impression for not only for my family, but for myself as a nursing major would be an incredible opportunity. I would like to leave a strong legacy for my family and for those to come after me, that are interested in pursuing the medical field.

I currently do not have any experience working in the nursing field, however, I have worked closely with patients and have learned about the customer care area through my job. I have worked as a Clinical Technician at a Physical Therapy office. I have not worked with any jobs that offer the nursing experience I intend on receiving, however, I have worked with patients closely and I also learned how to speak to a patient directly and how to answer any questions they may have.
