How has cyber technology created opportunities for workplace deviance?

Workplace deviance with cybersecurity technology is more doable and makes it harder to catch whoever performed the attack because this can be done on any computer, meaning it can even on a computer outside the company. This could encourage some employees to do damage because it would take more time before getting caught compared to physically doing more workplace damage onsite.

One way to decrease the chances of workplace deviance is enforcing some restrictions to what employees access on their personal devices. For example, a company should set it up to where employees cannot have access to part of the company site that holds confidential information from home. Another thing that should happen when someone no longer works for that company is to delete or deactivate their employee login. If in any case that employee leaves or is let go on a bad note, not having access will remove the chances of causing the company damage or would at least make it more difficult for that person to cause damage.
