The NICE Framework categorizes cybersecurity work into seven high-level categories. First one is, Securely Provision, which involves concepts related to designing, developing, implementing, and supporting secure systems and applications. Then there is, which Operates and Maintains, Encompasses the day to day tasks of managing and protecting information systems and assets. Next there is, Protect and Defend, which Focuses on identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats to information systems and data. After that it’s Investigate, where it involves the identification, analysis, and resolution of cybersecurity events and incidents. Almost to last is Collect and Operate, to where Pertains to the collection, processing, and dissemination of information related to cybersecurity. Lastly it is Oversee and Govern, Encompasses the leadership, management, and governance of the organization’s cybersecurity program. When taking on a career focus in the NICE Framework, personal interests, skills, and career goals should be taken into account. The area that stands out to me the most is Investigation, becaue i enjoy solving complex problems, has aninterest in forensics and incident response. This area involves identifying and resolving cybersecurity incidents. Which will allow me to operate like a cyber investor gator trying to solve a mystery.

The principles of science play a crucial role in the field of cybersecurity, like approach problems, conduct investigations, and develop solutions. Here’s how the principles of science relate to cybersecurity, first is Hypothesis Testing; which relates to Cybersecurity by formulating hypotheses about potential threats and vulnerabilities. They develop and test hypotheses through simulations, penetration testing, and analysis of historical data to understand and anticipate cyber threats. Second is Systematic Inquiry, which relates to Cybersecurity; by using systematic inquiry to investigate security incidents, identify the root causes of breaches, and develop effective countermeasures. This involves a structured and methodical approach to analyzing systems, networks, and data. Lastly is Continuous Improvement; which relates to cybersecurityby using the scientific method promotes continuous improvement. In cybersecurity, professionals regularly assess and update security measures, adapt to evolving threats, and learn from past incidents to enhance overall resilience.

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is a psychological theory that categorizes human needs into a hierarchical structure, with lower-order needs at the base and higher-order needs at the top. The hierarchy includes five levels:
- Physiological Needs:
- These are the basic necessities for survival, such as food, water, shelter, and sleep.
- Digital Experience Example: My digital experience with this would be when i use apps like insta cart or door dash and i’ll say it’s efficent.
- Safety Needs:
- Safety needs involve security, stability, and protection from physical and emotional harm.
- Digital Experience Example: My experience with this would be passwords for my online banking, and the use of privacy settings on social media to have a protected communicationline.
- Love and Belongingness:
- These needs relate to social interaction, companionship, and a sense of belonging.
- Digital Experience Example: my experience with this is special cause i use social media everyday to connect with my family friends and following through various apps.
- Esteem Needs:
- Esteem needs involve self-respect, recognition, and a sense of accomplishment.
- Digital Experience Example: My personal experience with this would be using the google keep app to keep up with my daily task, monthly task and my weekly goals.
- Self-Actualization:
- This is the highest level, representing the desire for personal fulfillment, realizing one’s potential, and achieving self-growth.
- Digital Experience Example: My personal digital experience with this would be youtube and other social media trying to learn the algerithim and videos on how to market one’s self to improve their brand.

- Revenge
- Recognition
- For money
- Boredom
- Political
- Multiple reasons
- Entertainment
The reason for my ranking is because Number one was interesting and made me realize that that’s an everyday thing that happens even though it shouldn’t. The topic itself makes me want to see what the repercussions are happening to that person and how we are going to fix that moving forward. The reason why I put number two up there is because I found it interesting that the person did and risked his freedom just to get their point across and didn’t look for any other avenues to prove themself. For number three i just simply understand why they did it for money and in today’s economy time is tough and they had to provide somehow. Now for number four it kinda like recognition but you just plainly did it because they were bored but it reminds me of the topic we dissuessed in class; how someone will commit a crime based on the area they grew up in so that made me think that he knew or saw someone who did the same thing. Number five is there cause I really am not that political and haven’t done that much research on the topic so it earned the 5th spot but I also want to look into it. Number 6 got the spot because it personally did not interest me. For the last spot is the same way as number six.

He is feeling like he is that guy since he just finished optimizing the company’s system.
In the process of system optimization, it’s crucial to understand the human factors involved, such as cognitive abilities, physical capabilities, and behavioral aspects. This understanding helps make it user-friendly and efficient. The way it relates to HSI emphasizes understanding and incorporating human factors into the design and operation of systems

After watching the video I scored very well. The reason why is because there are certain things I do differently from what Dave did. First I would never share where I work online , especially on a platform that is not for people I don’t know in real life. Second, I think the items are good to judge people on because it’s realistic and infomatonial to others who may do said actions at work. Yes there are different patterns around the world that why you have training every year and make sure the employees know about the new ways they can get you.
