In the NICE Workforce Framework, the Competency Area that appeals most to me is the Artificial Intelligence Security area. This Competency Area covers a learner’s ability to safeguard Artificial Intelligence against cyberattacks, guarantee it is properly controlled when it is utilized, and reduce the harm AI poses when it or its users have malicious intentions. The Competency Area that appeals to me the least is Cryptography. This Competency Area reflects a learner’s ability to alter data using cryptographic methods so that it can only be read by those who are allowed to view it. The reason why I don’t find this Competency Area appealing is because Cryptography requires the knowledge of complicated mathematical algorithms, and I was never good at math.
