Clubs and Organizations:

Girl Scouts – 1/15/09 – 5/05/16

During my time in girl scouts I went from a Cadet and continued to an Ambassador. I sold cookies, and worked to get badges, ran events for younger scouts, and attended events with family and friends.

Police Cadets – 4/10/13 – 7/15/15

Here I studied under police officers at the Summerville Police Station. Every Saturday myself and other young adults would meet at the station and for 4 hours we would learn, observe, and train techniques officers use in the field. This would include traffic stops, active shooters, building clearing, common radio calls, and high risk scenarios. The police officers, instructors, and cadets (myself) would go to an event called SCALE every year. This event would conduct scenarios for teams from each county/district in South Carolina. These scenarios would be conducted and then repeated for each team and at the end would be evaluated for a prize. We won many competitions and I learned a variety of skills while being apart of this organization. I learned how to be aware of my surroundings, search an individual for an object, handcuff an individual, search a room safely, search for drugs, write a ticket, conduct a traffic stop, execute a high risk vehicle stop, confrintation communication skills, and teamwork skills.

Wave TV – 8/25/15 – 5/05/16

Here I attended my media technology class. This was also a news production where I worked as the producer for the daily show. While a crew member I filmed, edited, reported, and wrote storyboards for upcoming production. I created REELs, music videos, documentaries, human interest stories, creative films, and commercials.

WODU Studios – 1/16/22 – Present

Here I am employed as the Video Director. Me, my under director, and the video team go to video shoots for sports events, school assignments, and other school activities.

Student Veterans Association (SVA) – 4/18/22 – Present

Here is where I will be the Public Affairs Officer (PAO) and assist with updating their social media, website, and send out alerts when needed.
