Awards & Recognition

I recieved a certificate when I completed basic training into the US Army. Then after that I went to AIT and recieved a certificate for completing my training as a paralegal specialist. I also recieved recognition rewards as I was promoted from E1 to E4.

I received multiple rewards in the military, however, I am not necessarily proud of those achievements. I worked hard in the military but did not get recognized for the hard work and dedication I put in for 3 years. In my next career as a receptionist and executive assistant, I was praised for my hard work; however, their lack communication within the leadership caused difficulties upon me and my workload, I was nearly doubling my work because they would not explain themselves to each other.

However, I do not need awards and recognition to be satisfied with myself. I know I have worked hard, and deserved more than I got, but what does a piece of paper mean anyways? Doing the work when no one is looking and when your not recognized is what really matters.
