One ethical issue that may come up is confidentiality. When a client entrusts their cybersystems to you, you learn the ins and outs of their company. This may be proprietary information, and when you are discussing and problem solving you may inadvertently tell someone who you are working with something that is confidential. When you are working on security systems, you are also entrusted with employee’s personal identification information. You must make the ethical decision to make sure you have this information in a secure place, and that you have vetted your own employees.
