In my opinion, yes, a successful venture can be unethical. When an entrepreneur comes up with an idea, they can make both ethical and unethical decisions. Take for example a pharmaceutical company who has created a cure for pancreatic cancer. This company has conducted several clinical trials with much heralded success for the most part. During the trials the company discovers that the drug works for most people but has an adverse effect on diabetics. The company decides that although this drug can harm some people, this skew their findings so that when they present the drug to the FDA, it shows that the drug will help everyone. The drug is a success, but the company made the unethical decision to skew their results
