    Cyberbullying in Jordan College

Cyberbullying is bullying through the internet. It is a problem that can have the same effects as traditional bullying offline. This article looks to see the correlation between cyberbullying and cyberbullicide in Jordan.

        Relation to the Principles of Social Sciences

This article relates to the principle of objectivity because it looks at the study of cyberbullying and cyberbullicide in Jordan in a bias-free banner. It also relates to the principle of parsimony because the writing is in a manner that is understandable to the readers. They write in an understandable manner so that the reader can understand what message the article is trying to convey. The article also relates to ethical neutrality because the scientists conducting their research adhered to ethical standards by protecting the rights of the students they studied on.

  Research Question or Hypotheses

This study supported the hypothesis that students’ cyberbullying victimization

could lead to cyberbullicide (Khelifa, 2024). 

  Research Methods

The research methods included sampling, data collection method, measurement scales, and subscales. They sampled 1000 Jordanian students. The study comprised nearly half of males while the rest were females. Around a quarter were exposed to bullying(Khelifa, 2024). For the data collection method, the scientists distributed the surveys (Khelifa, 2024). They measure the victimization of cyberbullying for the measurement (Khelifa, 2024). It measured self-reported victimization, perpetration, and cyber bullying victimization (Khelifa, 2024). The subscales measure the extent of cyberbullying victimization, perpetration, and bullies’ knowledge (Khelifa, 2024). 

  Data and Analysis

The data was analyzed using descriptive statistical analyses and logistic regression analysis (Khelifa, 2024). About half of the sample reported depression, unhappiness, cyberbullicide, despair, or a willingness to die (Khelifa, 2024). 

Relation to PowerPoint Presentations

 This relates to three principles of social sciences. The principles this article relates to is parsimony, ethical neutrality, and objectivity. They also used surveys as their research method to study cyberbullying. They studied perpetration which could relate to find why cyberbullies bully.  This article can relate to the social sciences because it studies how cyberbullying affects the victims.

Marginalized Groups

This article shows the effects of cyberbullying to its victims. The effects being depression, despair, anxiety, and possibly cyberbullicide (Khelifa, 2024). 

Contribution to Society

This article contributes to society because it studies how cyberbullying effects its victims. Not only does it study how but it also shows the affects of the victims and explains how cyberbullying works.

Conclusion

In conclusion, this article studies the effects of cyberbullying which may lead to cyberbullcide. It uses research methods to study individuals about cyberbullying and its effects. The article goes out of its to show the damages of cyberbullying.
