My first experience with TalkAbroad was incredible. My partner was from Colombia and he taught me a lot about the medical system in Colombia. He told me there are three parts of the medical system; a part for the poor that is public and two parts for the rich that is private. He also told me that the public part is very bad because it is government funded and it can take a long time to get medical help. The private part can be better because it is faster to get help, but it does cost a lot of money. We also talked about the north American politics and the United States president, Trump. All in all, it was a great experience and we both learned a lot.

Mi primera experiencia de TalkAbroad fue increíble. Mi pareja era de Colombia y me enseno mucho sobre el sistema medica de Colombia. A él me dijo que hay tres partes de este sistema; un parte para los pobres que es público y dos partes para la gente rica y es privada. También, me dijo que el parte público es muy mal porque es del gobierno y puede tomar mucho tiempo para ayudar médica. La parte privada para los ricos es mejor porque es más rápido, pero se cuesta mucho. También, nosotros hablamos sobre los políticos norteamericanos y el presidente de los Estados Unidos, Trump. En todo, fue una buena conversación y aprendí mucho de mi pareja.
