I really liked the Item to Archive in Module 12 on aggression. This assignment really focused on the differing perspectives on aggression. Each scenario listed had different circumstances and intent behind the actions in which differing perspectives of aggression were to be applied. Every person taking it could get different results based on their personal views of what aggression is.
Before this assignment I had not previously considered that there were so many different considerations when it comes to what is and is not aggressive behavior. My previous view on aggression was very black and white, it was very random what I considered aggressive and what I didn’t. This assignment shed light on the different considerations there are to aggression like, whether it’s harm to a living or non-living thing, accident vs. intention, and self-defense. I know now that these are extremely important aspects to aggressive behavior.

The Item to Archive that I enjoyed the most thus far was on Self-perception. This Item to archive focused on building strategies of enhancement that would be useful in particular situations. I felt this activity allowed people to really identify their strengths and know how to use them to help create a better perception of themselves. Within this module I learned different self-enhancement and other-enhancement strategies that I could apply to real world situations.
I think what stuck with me the most about this activity was the ability for it to be applied to really important real world situations. These potential situations include; interviews, meeting a boss, meeting classmates, or even meeting a professor. Knowing how to enhance your strengths and portray them to others, especially learning to identify what strengths may be more useful in particular situations, can make these situations even easier to get through. Knowing how to put your best qualities out for people to see, and leaning to capitalize on those qualities is an extremely useful gift to have.
