This section of my electronic portfolio will show case the skill of policy analysis that I have learned from my time at Old Dominion University. This section will showcase the four papers that I have done policy analysis, and the policy that was examined was The Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015. In the first paper I have explained in layperson’s terms what this policy is and why the policy was developed. I also had explained how the policy is applied in national terms. The second paper explains political implications that arise from this cybersecurity policy. I also examine what lawmakers have done to address the policy and what changes were made to this policy following political implications that they have faced. In the third paper paper I examined the ethical implications that arise from this policy. Also, i weigh the cost and benefits of this policy while looking at what rights are protected and what rights are infringed upon. In the last paper, I examine the social implications that arise from The Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015. The last paper also shows what social factors led to this policy being developed and the social consequences of the policy.
