Reflection on writing: In Spanish 101, I initially struggled with writing and understanding the structure of the Spanish language. However, through continuous study I was able to write out my daily schedule. Along with the activities I like to do as well as those that I’m obligated to do. Below will be my written artifact demonstrating this.

Spoken reflection: At the beginning of Spanish 101, I wasn’t too sure of my speaking ability. I would get nervous and take long pauses before each sentence. However, as my vocabulary grew and my willingness to speak grew I was able to speak more confidently and gain a better listening and speaking ability than when I started. Below will be a video artifact of me speaking Spanish to another student.
Cultural reflection: We took a look at many aspects of Latin American culture, throughout the semester. One of these aspects was the Siesta and it’s practice. I read about Chile’s attitude towards the Siesta and where it’s future is as a practice is in the country. Below will be my Artifact of my cultural exploration.
