Writing Reflection 3

This ePortfolio project is a highly effective organizational tool for my writing throughout my first semester here at Old Dominion University, in the class: Writing for College Sucess (UNIV 150). Growing up in the academically challenging public school district, Arlington Public Schools (APS), I had been faced with a need to keep organized. This need to keep organized stems from the copious amounts of work I had endeavored. My work was all over the place. However, the more organized I was, the easier my experience in high school had become. This skill, nonetheless, carries over into college and will continue throughout the rest of my career, surly. Only because of the never-ending amount of assignments I am assigned, especially writing assignments. This ePortfolio then offered me not only the help to keep all of my writing assignments in a highly effective organizational way but helped me also learn how to organize professionally. This is because I am only used to organizing my assignments onto the Google Drive. My usual way is to create folders within folders, separating subject by subject. Although, this way it is for personal use only. My assignments have always been saved on a private account server. But, thanks to this ePortfolio, I have learned a resource to help with my public organizational skills. I have learned how to make an online public website that contains my work. This includes the construction of the foundation of the site, building the pages, and creating daughter pages as links to the main screen of my website. These elements help construct a highly effective, organized, professional place for my writing assignments. I had learned skills to help make my works throughout this semester in a localized aesthetically pleasing professional site. I appreciate this project for I will now be able to look back onto my first semesters writing progress.
