Writing Reflection 2

Oh, brother. Where should I even begin? Well, first off, I will give credit where credit is due. My greatest challenge in writing an essay, and writing in general, is the linguistics component. This includes the grammar of my writing, proper punctuation placement and its usage, and most importantly syntax. Lucky for me, considering I had landed myself a highly trained, well-versed professor on this exact pain of mine. I would not be shocked to find out if this professor of mine, right now, is sitting back at her desk looking at this exact text and chuckling herself so hard that she has to remind herself to breathe, for the six-hundred minute flaws of mine she is able to pick up. Nonetheless, I genuinely try my best to avoid making mistakes; her class is helping me add writing rules that are commonly absent in my writings. This class also has taught me many skills that not only help me in that specific class exclusively, but it helps with my other classes as well. I can extend the knowledge I have gained and apply it over onto the rest of my other writings. Learning the complete break down of essays has helped me better structure all of my writings and in turn, my writings are slowly becoming better. I can officially declare that I fear writing one one-hundredth less a little less while starting to understand the structure of writing and the rules that accompany it. I have also learned better punctuation with the proper placement and rules of what words are necessary to be used with them. These factors can be argued to have improved my writings by strengthening them.  And that, all of that, is the kind of stuff I appreciate. That feeling when the little things that never get noticed… gets noticed(ahhh! wink, wink.)
