My name is Ethan Carter, I am currently enrolled at ODU in the history department in order to become a history professor, and I was born in the great state of New York. I love history, I think it’s fascinating, and I owe a lot to some really great teachers, so I want to be one of those great teachers who makes kids passionate about learning. One of the easiest history classes I’ve ever had was US History II, and it was also one of my most memorable. Not just because it was fun, but also because I can literally remember more from that class than almost any other. Other than that, I love hiking and camping in the woods: I did a lot of that growing up in NY, and I still do it (in NY if I can) as often as I can. I also love to play guitar, read books, play videogames, and write. I like to think that I am very creative and hardworking, and I also like to think that those qualities go well together.
